St Marys is close to many local attractions:
You can try the challenging climb along the walking track to the top of St Patrick’s Head, reasonable fitness required and suitable footwear required. The views are to die for! (approx. 40 mins to 2 hrs. to summit, depending on age and fitness) The views are also spectacular from the more accessible South Sister Peak, a high clearance 4WD is needed to get to the top without incidents. However, it is a not too difficult 1000 metres walk up the track from the nearest point to safely take a normal vehicle.
